PatientNow Essentials x Health Gorilla Labs: Reviewing Lab Results in PatientNow
Overview
When lab results are returned to the system through the Health Gorilla integration, you’ll receive a notification in your task list. This guide walks you through identifying, viewing, and managing new lab result notifications within PatientNow.
Identifying New Lab Result Notifications
When a new lab result arrives you will receive a pop up notification:

Unsolicited ResultsWhile integrated with Health Gorilla Labs, if you place an order outside of the Health Gorilla Lab integration the results will still pull into PatientNow Essentials. The system will match the record using the client's First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, and Gender. If the system can not match a client with the results it will not assign a client's name and you will have to assign the client in the Task List.
To assign a Client you will open the Task List and click on Assign Client.
