Specifications
No matter who you choose to use for your gift cards, the following specifications are required so that the gift cards you purchase will be fully compatible with Envision.
A barcode scanner is required if you purchase gift cards with a barcode
A Magnetic strip reader is required if you purchase gift cards with a magnetic strip
Character Length
Envision accepts alpha and numeric characters up to 32 characters long.
Magnetic Strip Hi-Co and Lo-Co
Envision is compatible with either Lo-Co and Hi-Co. However, your magnetic strip reader may be limited. Check with your magnetic strip reader manufacturer to determine which format is best.
Magnetic Strip Track
Use only Track 1 or Track 2, but not both. Plastic Printers generally uses Track 2.
