Treatment List
Ways to use the Treatment List
The Treatment List in PatientNow Essentials provides a comprehensive view of all treatment records entered into the system. You can access it by hovering over the Medical tab on the menu bar and selecting Treatment List.
The list displays key information for each entry, including:
Treatment #: Numbered sequentially from the most recent to the least recent.
Client & Employee Names: Easily identify the patient and the staff member who administered the treatment.
Service & Date: The service provided and the date/time it occurred.
Signature Statuses: Indicates whether a required Nurse or Doctor signature has been completed.
Why Users Access the Treatment List:
Users typically navigate to the Treatment List to:
Create flexible treatment records: Users can select New Treatment directly from the list to create a record without a scheduled appointment. This is ideal for quickly documenting walk-ins, offline treatments, or records that need to be added after the fact. Note: These manual records will display a blank "Service" field to help distinguish them from scheduled appointments.

Track missing signatures: Users can use the Missing Nurse/Doctor Signature filter to quickly find treatments that require a sign-off but haven't received one yet.
Review existing charts: By double-clicking any record on the list, users can open a read-only view of that specific Treatment screen to review the client's details. Users can also use the View All option to see the full scope of treatments across the practice.
