patientNOW tracks the total dollars spent by the patient at your practice and displays this in the lower right hand corner of the Patients | Registration / Billing, Invoices tab.
Lifetime $ does NOT include
- Payments made with Award Points.
- Payments made with Gift Cards.
- Payments assigned as Gratuity.
- Payments for Sales Tax.
- Write-Offs
In addition, the Lifetime $ are reduced when money is refunded.
In the example below:
Total Paid ($969.36) includes Tax ($21.87), but not Gratuity ($88.75).
Lifetime $ ($947.50) = Total Paid ($969.36) less tax ($21.87)
