Each patient will have a single user name and password for all of the Online options (myPatientNOW and myAppointmentNOW).
Since, patients frequently forget their user names and passwords, there is now an option in patientNOW for you to give the patient their user name and send a Password Reset Email.
Note: Privacy and security law are very strict about patients’ passwords, that is why you may only send an email to reset the patient’s password instead of changing it yourself.
Provide Username and Send Password Reset
Select Patient
Navigate to Patients | Registration/Billing, Patient Information tab
In the Online Information section, the patient’s User Name is displayed.
If the patient has forgotten their password, you may select Send Password Reset and a password reset email will be sent to the patient’s email on Patients | Registration/Billing, Contact Information tab.
You may also see the Last Login date and time.
