Our Example Plan
- is named the “Loyalty Platinum” plan
- costs the patient $60 per month OR $600 per year
- provides the patient a 15% discount on all Obagi or Skinceuticals Skin Care Products purchased during the membership period
- provides the patient a 20% discount on laser hair removal
- provides the patient a $25.00 discount on Signature Facials
In order to being using a Membership plan, it must be configured in Administration. For additional information, check out Configuring Memberships.
Sell a Membership Plan
Select Patient and navigate to Patients | Registration/Billing, Invoices Tab and select Add.
Define the Plan
- Invoice Date. Date Membership is sold.
- Treatment Pathway. Select appropriate.
- Invoice Name. Use the name of the Membership Plan
- Invoice Type. Membership
- Membership Plan. Loyalty Platinum (our sample plan)
- Membership Start. This is particularly important for monthly memberships. Changing this date will change the date that the patient is charged each month if they select the monthly option.
- Annual/Monthly.
- If the patient is paying for an entire year, select Annual.
- If the patient is agreeing to a monthly charge, select Monthly.
Select OK
Apply Patient Payment
The Membership Plan is NOT active until payment is applied to the invoice. Once the invoice is paid, the Plan Code appears in the Blue ID Bar.
