Definition – Clinical Procedure Count

Provides a count of procedures entered into the Patients | Clinical Information, Procedures tab. These counts are frequently used for reporting to boards and societies. For additional information, check out Pivot Tables – Defining the Elements.

Initial Data Set

Any procedure entered into the procedure tab where the

  • procedure date is in the date range AND
  • the procedure is not deleted AND
  • the patient is not deleted

Filter Selection Before Generate

  • Procedure Date Range

Default Filter

  • Procedure

Optional Filters

  • Patient Name
  • Patient Gender

Report Results

Not by Month, just total

  • # Performed = count of procedures
  • < = 18 years = count of # Performed where patient’s age at time of procedure was 18 years or younger
  • 19 – 34 years = count of # Performed where patient’s age at time of procedure was between 19 and 34 years inclusive
  • 35 – 51 years = count of # Performed where patient’s age at time of procedure was between 35 and 51 years inclusive
  • 52 – 64 years = count of # Performed where patient’s age at time of procedure was between 52 and 64 years inclusive
  • 65+ years = count of # Performed where patient’s age at time of procedure was 65 years or older
  • Male = count of # Performed where patient’s gender is male
  • % Male = Male divided by # Performed, expressed as a percentage
  • Female = count of # Performed where patient’s gender is female
  • % Female = Female divided by # Performed, expressed as a percentage
