Definition – Schedule: Treatment Retention

You may track your treatment appointments to make sure that a retreatment is scheduled. For additional information, check out Pivot Tables – Defining the Elements.

Initial Data Set

Any appointment on the schedule where the

  • Appointment Type has the “Procedure” box checked AND
  • the appointment date (not create date) is in the date range AND
  • the appointment is checked in AND
  • the appointment is not deleted AND
  • the patient is not deleted

For the Procedure appointments above, any appointment where the

  • Appointment Type has the “Procedure” box checked AND
  • the appointment date (not create date) is after the consult appointment date AND
  • the appointment is not cancelled
  • the appointment is not deleted

Report Results

By Month

  • # Patients = Count of procedure appointments
  • Not Booked = Count of # Patients where there is no subsequent procedure appointment scheduled
  • # Booked = Count of # Patients where there is a subsequent procedure appointment scheduled
  • % Booked = Not Booked divided by # Patients expressed as a %
