PatientNow v7.0.207 – 10/13/2021

Notes:

– This new version is only available for PatientNow clients utilizing the cloud product and is available as of October 13, 2021. Practices will receive a notification of the date in which you are scheduled to receive this update. It is important that you completely exit out of PatientNow at the end of the day before receiving your update.

– In PatientNow v7.0.207, the ability to send / receive Direct Messages has been removed. Direct Messaging was a previous Meaningful Use requirement that is no longer applicable to PatientNow clients. This only impacts provider-to-provider messaging and does not impact provider-to-patient messaging.

New Products and Functionality

  • Scheduled Patients Summary reportThis report can be found under Back Office > Reports / Analysis > Scheduling tab. The data highlighted in this report will give you an overview of each patient coming in for the day, how long they have been a patient, their average spend, and much more!
  • eFax integrationPatientNow now integrates with eFax, formerly known as MyFax. This integration allows for practices to receive faxes digitally through the software.
  • LabCorp integrationPatientNow now integrates with LabCorp to send and receive lab orders directly from the software.

Enhanced Functionality

  • Rescheduling multiple appointments

PatientNow now offers an easier and efficient way to reschedule multiple appointments for the same patient on one day.

When right-clicking an appointment and selecting “Reschedule”, the calendar will now ask if you would like to reschedule all appointments for that day.

If so, when right-clicking on the time slot in the calendar to paste the appointment to the new time/date, you will be presented with a list of each appointment type needing to be rescheduled. 

Simply select the appointment type you wish to reschedule in that slot and the edit appointment window will appear. Make any necessary changes to the appointment and click OK to save. Repeat the process until all appointments have been rescheduled.

Fixes

  • In merchant mapping, MIDs are no longer required for all facility/provider combinations for PatientNow Payments or CareCredit
  • Fixed an issue with office appointments where resources are allowed but not required
  • Adjusted the date fields on the CMS1500 form so they are no longer cut off
  • Fixed an issue where the add patient screen did not close if insurance information was added
  • Fixed an issue on the Product Sales report where the product filter does not properly limit the selection list when a category is selected
