This update includes the ability to configure Product Categories, Services, Scheduler Resources, as well as a new Inventory module for Inventory On Hand, 4 new Reports, and an update to the Text Message Inbox notifications on Web App. Additionally, you can now trigger RxPhoto Form Groups directly from within the PatientNow Desktop platform.
- Note: PatientNow Desktop version 7.0.225 is only available for PatientNow clients using the cloud product and is available as of July 5, 2023. Your practice will receive a notification of the date in which you are scheduled to receive this update. It is important that you completely close and exit the PatientNow Desktop platform at the end of the day before your scheduled update.
- PatientNow Web App updates to version 1.8.1 are available automatically. For a list of what functionality exists in the Web App and what functionality is coming soon, scroll down to PatientNow Web App: New and Upcoming.
PatientNow Desktop
Trigger RxPhoto Forms from PatientNow (Available as of July 5, 2023)
Practices taking advantage of the RxPhoto integration may send RxPhoto Form Groups to patients using a clickable link in text messages or emails. Patients can fill out their forms on their mobile phone or browser, which are sent to the patient’s record in RxPhoto upon submission. Once they are marked as Complete they are also stored in the PatientNow patient record.

PatientNow Web App
Services: Service Categories and Services
PatientNow gives you the ability to add and manage Services within Service Categories. Link these Services to Procedures of Interest to trigger marketing campaigns.

Scheduler: Resources
PatientNow gives you the ability to add and manage Scheduler Resources. Add People, Rooms, and Equipment, and assign Allowed Appointment Types to each Resource.

Inventory On Hand
PatientNow lets you see a list of Inventory On Hand for each location, including the amount On Order, Total Amount, Low Stock Amount, Cost, and Sales Price per item. Adjust the amount On Hand directly from the Web App.
