This update includes the ability to configure Products, 3 new Reports, a new Prepaid Item History module, and some other updates to the Billing and Financial History section all on the PatientNow Web App platform.
- Note: PatientNow Desktop version 7.0.226 is only available for PatientNow clients using the cloud product and is available as of August 2, 2023. Your practice will receive a notification of the date in which you are scheduled to receive this update. It is important that you completely close and exit the PatientNow Desktop platform at the end of the day before your scheduled update.
- PatientNow Web App updates to version 1.9 are available automatically. For a list of what functionality exists in the Web App and what functionality is coming soon, scroll down to PatientNow Web App: New and Upcoming.

Financial Reports
The Unearned Income Activity and Unearned Income Balance Financial reports now let you click on the invoice number directly from the report to view the invoice. This allows you to easily see which specific invoice the outstanding balances and unreceived items are coming from.
PatientNow Web App
Products: Configure Products
You may now configure your Products on the PatientNow Web App. This includes assigning a Low Stock value, as well as assigning Locations and Vendors to the Product, to make creating Purchase Orders a breeze in future releases.

Prepaid Items History
The Prepaid Item History pop-up lets you view the patient’s entire history of prepaid items including when the item was purchased, when any amount of it was redeemed, and how much was redeemed. You can also return any redeemed items back to the Wallet.

Prepaid Item Transaction Update
You may now redeem partial amounts of Services on Prepaid Item Transactions when adding Services to the Wallet.. Additionally, when selecting how many items to add to the patient’s Wallet, all like items will be grouped. For example, if you add 3 individual Chemical Peel line items, the Add to Wallet pop-up will show all 3 Chemical Peels as a single line item.

Search Transactions
You may now search your list of Transactions from the Financial History section of the Patient Record.

Smaller Items:
- You cannot create any Quotes or Invoices with the same name.
- All Quotes and Invoices will be named “Quote: [# or custom name]” and “Invoice: [# or custom name].” When creating the Cart, the default name with be “Transaction #1.” You may type a custom name.
- Carts/Payment Methods timeout after 5 minutes of inactivity, and you are returned to the Dashboard.

- Can add apostrophes in Gift Card IDs without error.
- Subject corrected when sending batch emails.
